Short Bio :
Exhibitions :
Long Bio :
An illustration artist who rose above the niche of pulp fiction artworks, where Frederick Blakeslee lacks in international recognition is well made up for with the fevered passion of collectors of aviation and military art, especially paintings inspired to become the covers of publications that became "The Flying Aces", "Dusty Ayers and his Battle Birds" and the 110 covers painted for the fictional exploits of aviation spy-hero "G-8" by Robert J. Hogen. He has hundreds of others to his credit, and the printed pulp magazines and books are today collectable in their own right.
