Long Bio :	<p>A professional art teacher and advertising artist, Kinghan worked in his home state of Kansas, and for several years in the 1950s and early 1960s in New York City, before coming west and setting up in Laguna Beach to focus on his artistic pursuits. He led classes at the American Academy of Art in both watercolor and oil from 1937 on, and preferred working in the former.</p>
