Long Bio :	Percy Dalton painted in the early 20th century and created strong images highlighting the past and present British and American seafaring traditions. His body of work includes a number of excellent ship portraits such as this fine rendering of the American flag brig NEPTUNE. He worked mainly in watercolors with strong attention to accuracy in hull lines and rigging.
