Artists Management
Cimiotti was a master painter born in New York November 10, 1875. His early studies were with the New York Art Students League under artists such as Mowbray, Cox, J.A. Weir and R. Blum. In Paris he studied separately at the constant, Julien and Delacluse academies.
Upon his return to America he opened a studio at 51 west 10th street in New York City and was accepted as a member of the renowned Salmagundi Club. He also enjoyed memberships in the Montclair Artists Association and the Grand Central Artists Guild.In 1929 he exhibited at the National Academy of Design where his work was honored with several prizes.
He traveled extensively throughout the United States painting mainly landscapes. In his later years he was appointed director at the Newark School of Fine Art and Industry in New Jersey.
