A solitary large model by the ship builders W. Gray & Co. of West Hartlepool for the Great Western Steamship Co, Ltd. of Bristol, the model is the original representation of both WORCHESTER & OXFORD, and the backboard has dual plates stating their pedigrees. The steamships and stepped deck and decent cargo capacity, and would also have transported coastal passengers.
The large model is painted in the British traditional black over ruddy pink, with a large gray-white waterline painted on the hull. Each of the sister ships would possess a more somber paint job, and their 315 foot identical lengths would make them noteworthy in many harbors.
