High quality, unusual commemorative porcelain plaque celebrating the admirals responsible for four major British naval victories of the 1790s: the Battle of the Glorious First of June on 1 June 1794 (Howe); the Battle of Cape St Vincent on 14 February 1797 (St Vincent); the Battle of Camperdown on 11 October 1797 (Duncan); and the Battle of the Nile on 1–3 August 1798 (Nelson). The Royal Maritime Museum Greenwich collection includes a period lithograph which commemorates this same grouping of naval heroes.
