This extremely large flintlock is signed on both the barrel and lock plate by master gunsmith E. Baker of London. Baker was later contracted in 1805 by the British admiralty to produce arms for sea service.

This well-made weapon is quite rare and measures 55 inches in length with a 37 inch barrel that has an 1¼ bore at the muzzle. It features the original iron yoke with a brass trigger guard, butt plate and ram rod.
