32 1/4 inches overall with a 26 1/2 inche blade . Blade has a uniform medium gray patina. There is a anchor engraved on each side of the blade. The spine of the blade has several French markings with the date 1842. Hilt is heavily patinaed iron painted black. Overall condition is good.
