Consists of full head and neck as broken off from the full figure. Was acquired by the William Randolph Hearst Collection and is listed on page 173 of “American Figureheads and Their Carvers”. Exhibited as the centerpiece of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in their show “Pertaining to the Sea”, March 23, 1976.
