A chest with excellent over details, starting with knotted letter and twine beckets with some of their original red,white and blue polychrome coloration fastened under carved blocks with incised star. The hand-carved dove-tail jointery is visible between the thin brass corner pieces. The eschueon is of brass with the key hole filled.
