A marine work of art, oringially conceived by master Dutch artist Hendrik Mestag (1831-1915), this beautiful 15-tile panel of coastal Dutch ships in and off the surfline was presented to the Alliance Insurance Company Limited in 1924 as a hundred year commmemorative of their business.

It is signed with the Delft Factory marks at the lower left, and a brass plaque identifying the Insurance Company and its dates of significance: 1824 23rd March 1924.

Tiles are 6⅛ Inches square. Framed size of overall artifact is 25 3/4 x 38 Inches.
