The 1,395 ton four masted barkentine HESPERIAN was built in 1918 as sister ship to CONQUEROR, the first four master from the Rolph shipbuilding company. During her career she made voyages between west coast ports and Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. Her last voyage was from Wellington to San Francisco in 1924. She was then laid up at Antioch where she was broken up in 1937.
