37 inches high x 20 inches wide x 26 inches deep

Circa 1860

Likely Scottish in origin, in excellent condition. This figure has an attractively carved face and figure with a fine period hairstyle. Her dress features the national flower of Scotland, the thistle, also a symbol of Scotland for more than 500 years.

Her left hand sits alongside her body holding a handkerchief, and the right is raised and would have held either flowers or some other small item. The right arm is made to be removed in bad weather.
